I've lived in this town my whole life and this is hands down the slowest dq on the planet, prepare to wait forever
They always seem to be going at a very slow pace and the quality of food is no different than your typical fast food joint.
Nice staff, they got my order wrong but they made it right. Great food, DQ taste.
Neat little DQ that didn't want to be prepared for the increase in business with the solar eclipse. They blocked out more than half their menu and would not accommodate customers with any special orders, like leaving items OFF the burgers. Closed the drive-thru and put seating there, but they didn't need to do that for as long as they did either. Perhaps it's good that the solar eclipse is a rare thing. Maybe someone else will be in charge the next time John Day gets an influx of people.
As a former employee 3-4 years ago, I feel that the quality of service has been derailed. Speed and quality have both taken a hit while quantity and cleanliness have improved. Finding a better balance would truly benefit this establishment.
